I'm getting 'an unexpected error occurred' when I click on any web link in my notebooks, but this is only happening on my PC. When clicking on the same web links in the same notebooks on my laptop and even on my Kindle, they work OK. It also works OK if I'm in Onenote online. Any suggestions?

Where did you stored the OneNote file? Local disk or network, such as a NAS?

According to your description, I suppose that this issue is more related to OneNote client of the desktop. Please check for logs in event viewer when the error was pop-up. This will help us to analyze and assist you in better way.
