Although I have used Options to set the default font as Tahoma 11 (several times), text appears as Calibri 11. How can I change the default font?
Hi,
When you change the default font to Tahoma 11, will it change back to Calibri 11 when you come back to File > Option again?
Note: Your new default font choice applies only to new pages. Existing notes wont automatically be reformatted.
Also, if you keep typing in the same container in one page, it will keep using the same font you used in the container.
In addition, we can try to edit the registry to change the default font for OneNote to check if it will change back again. To do this, open your registry editor and locate:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\15.0\OneNote\Options\Editing
Registry Values to control the font and size are:
Name: DefaultFontFace
Type: REG_SZ
Value: Tahoma
Name: DefaultFontSize
Type: DWORD
Value: 11
Hope this helps.
Best Regards,
Steve Fan
