OneNote 2010

We are using OneNote 2010 for ciommunications in a crisis, I've heard a rumor that you can speed up the refresh rate on OneNote using a registry edit. The shared workbook is on a network location but I cannot seem to find the information regarding the refresh. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Near real time refresh for this would be ideal.

Thanks

Roger

Hello Roger,

By default, when multiple people are working on the same page, the synchronization should be finished in near real time. So, if you have problem in synchronization, please make sure the network connection is working properly. e.g. a wired LAN will provide a greater network condition than a Wireless LAN which will also speed up the synchronization obviously.

Sincerely,

Max,

I too have the same question and we are on a high speed network. I saw an article on a regedit modification but It was for an earlier version of OneNote. I'm now on v2013 and need to have faster synch.

Thanks,

 Tony

We are using OneNote for a tracking board situation. It's a lot of wasted time to do a manual refresh on the tracking board when we make a change for a different computer. Is there a way to force an immediate refresh on the tracking board? Currently we have to RDP to the tracking board and manually refresh or make a change to see the changes.
