OneNote - How to remove hyperlink forever ?

How to remove hyperlink forever in OneNote ?

Example:
if I write \\pop\corn - this automatically becomes hyperlink which is OK.
Then I use Remove Hyperlink option and hyperlink is gone.
But the hyperlink comes back later and that is not OK. If I decided to remove hyperlink, why it comes back ?

This is really frustrating thing so if anybody knows how to set this right, please, help..

Hi,

We can configure Microsoft Word to not automatic insert hyperlink to internet and network path, but this option is not available in OneNote.

We can try to copy and paste from Microsoft Word to work around this. When paste in OneNote, we should select the 'Keep text Only' paste option.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks for answering.

I tried but it seems that after a while it becomes a hyperlink again.
