OneDrive music folder keeps being added back to Music Library after being removed.

I have all my music stored as FLAC for playback on my network PCs with the Music folder redirected to this location via GPO. This has worked fine until now and WMP finds all my media as expected.

I have now started using the OneDrive Music folder for playback on my phone when away from home with a copy of my music collection converted to MP3 placed here.

The other day I noticed my WMP stop responding properly and kept locking up, stopping playback etc. I then found it was in the process of adding all the OneDrive Music folder content without me ever asking it to add this library location.

I removed the OneDrive Music folder from my Music Library locations and these items removed from WMP OK.

Today I have started WMP and magically the OneDrive Music folder has added itself back to my Music Library and WMP started adding the files again...

Why is this occurring? I don't want this extra folder and at no point have I asked it to be added. How do I turn off this stupid behaviour that NO ONE ASKED FOR?

OneDrive is adding itself somehow - this only occurs when I open/start OneDrive. If I close OneDrive, then remove the location, it is fine until I open OneDrive again, at which point the OneDrive Music folder is added automatically again...

Looked all through the OneDrive options, nothing about this. What absolute useless BS.

WHO ASKED FOR THIS?

WHO THOUGHT THIS IS SOMETHING USERS WOULD WANT?

WHY DID YOU NOT MAKE AN OFF BUTTON??

Fair amount of Googling found this:

http://www.tenforums.com/customization/16402-remove-onedrive-folders-libraries-5.html

Basically had to:

1. Close WMP, close OneDrive

2. Browse to C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Libraries

3. Remove the OneDrive location from the library if still there

4. Change the permissions as below

Disable Inheritance

Your User Account : Read & Execute
Local-PC\Administrators: Read & Execute
Local-PC\SYSTEM: Read & Execute

5. Start OneDrive and confirm no longer changing your Library settings without you asking it to

...

This isn't a fix.. You need an off button MS..
