By "version 10", do you mean Outlook 2010?
You can try several steps to check if they can fix the issue for you:
1. Start Outlook in Safe Mode.
Press Win + R, type "outlook.exe /safe" in the blank box, press Enter.
In Outlook safe mode, 3rd-party add-ins will not be loaded. If there it displays well then, disable the suspicious add-ins to verify which one caused the issue.
2. Start Outlook with the /cleanviews command:
Press Win + R, type "outlook.exe /cleanviews" in the Run dialog, press Enter.
Outlook will reset default view then, all custom views will be removed. Check if then it displays well.
