I have been having problems with files getting conflicts. After looking at a few different things I saw every time I open a file that was a office program the offline files sync center will disconnect. If I open a file in notepad and other programs it stays connected.
So if you open a file and make a quick change and then save it, it will sometimes give you a conflict because its still disconnected. Now if you open a file wait a few minutes till the offline sync comes back online then save the file it will NOT cause any conflicts.
We are also using windows folder replication on the desktop and my documents.
Any ideas on what could be causing the sync center to go offline when you open a office program but then it reconnects a few minutes later?
UPDATE: It looks like it does it using more then just office programs. It also does it when I open a file using WordPad and paint. However when I use notepad it doesn't make the offline sync show disconnected.- Edited by travis77 6 hours 55 minutes ago
