Offline Address Book not updating.
We are experiencing issues with the Outlook 2003 clients not receiving and updating the global address book. I have tried to do a rebuild on the default offline address list and also updated the recipient update service with no luck. After doing this however, Outlook 2007 does get the address book changes. Also not every Outlook 2003 client has this problem but all of the clients are running in cached mode. Once removed from Cached mode the address list is updated but when they are put back to cached mode it is not updated still. We are running the following: Windows Server 2003 R2 X32 Exchange 2003 Enterprise ~150 Users 4GB Ram 250 GB storage for the store We also have 4 other domains in our forest locted throughout the country.

Are there errors recorded in the Applications Event Log when theOABGen runs? Does the OABGen complete successfully?ched mode. You can exit Outlook and remove the *.oab files. Start Outlook anddownload the OAB. Does that fix the problem?---Rich MatheisenMCSE+I, Exchange MVP--- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP

You said not all OL 2003 has this issue. So the working OL 2003 and problematic OL2003 are on same SP and hotfix level? From the problematic OL2003 pull the GAL by below method and see what happens Start outlook click on Tools ->click on send/receive ->click on Download Address Book uncheck Download changes since last sen/Recieve then click on OkVinod |CCNA|MCSE 2003 +Messaging|MCTS|ITIL V3|
