Office prompting for Proxy sign in after 60 seconds

Hi All,

We have an issue at work where user's are being asked to sign into our web-based proxy after 60 seconds when using sharepoint online.

We've done some investigation, and it looks like the problem is being caused by a HTTP timeout as there is no traffic being passed from our installed copy of office to our sharepoint online site.

Short of excluding all of the addresses we use from our proxy, and having to write firewall rules to allow the traffic directly out to the internet, does anyone know whether there are any hotfixes or solutions to the issue?

We use the following:
Office 2010 (installed locally)
Sharepoint online (hosted by MS in the cloud)
Web based proxy server

Thanks

Paul
