Greetings,

How to do one of the following for all users

1- Disable ScreenShot under illustration

or

2- Limit Screenshot to screen cliping only

or

3- remove ScreenShot using registiries

or

4- add water mark to screenshot

According to your description, it seems not an Microsoft Office program issue. Do you want to get the request with Windows Client?

Thank you George for your reply....I need to disable screenshot command in ribbon in all office products for all users, preferebly by modifing registireis. We've disabled snipping tool, windows printscreen becuase for security reasons we don't wnat the users to print screen. We need to do the same for office products such as word

Ok, I see, you request could be done via setting Office ADMX template. Please see this image:

Please Note: We can find the screenshot control ID with "Office Help Files: Office Fluent User Interface Control

Identifiers": https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=6627

For example: In Word : ScreenshotInsertGallery control ID "18673"

Thank you very much George. So to confirm, there is no way to remove the screenshot command via Regisitries. I will have to use local group policy editor..right?

Yes, in my view, there seems no way to remove the screenshot command of ribbon. And we can use group policy to disable it.

We usually ask one question in one thread, it helps our communicator to find easily. Thus, I recommend you re-create a new thread.
