Office Help displays Script Error

Good morning all,

Whenever any of our users go into the help function within any of the Office programs it opens the Help window (clview.exe) and displays the online help search bar however we are also getting a script error popup:

"An error has occurred in the script on this page

Line: 1

Char: 581

Error: '$' is undefined

Code: 0

URL: http://support.office.microsoft.com/bundles/support?v=(VeryLongString)

Users are able to click past this error and it then displays another similar one. Clicking past this 2nd error removes the popup and allows the user to search, however on doing so it errors again before eventually showing the user their search results.

Initial investigation has suggested to reset IE settings, disable debugging and script error messages. Neither of this has resolved the error.

Office 2013 Pro Plus, Windows 8.1, Internet Explorer 11, Domain environment with IE Proxy server.

Unfortunately this did not resolve the issue.

We have narrowed it down to being related to the use of our proxy server as the script error does not appear when accessing the help through an external internet source.
