Office Customisation - Backstage and SaveAs/Open

Hi All

I am currently creating an RDS 2012 R2 environment and looking into Office 2013 customisation. In particular I am having issues getting Backstage and SaveAs/Open how I want it. I am trying to do the following:

1. Remove the Network icon from File - Computer - Browse (Open or Save As)

2. "This PC" shows up in regular file explorer This PC Places but doesn't show up in Office Applications -  This PC Places (when opening/saving dialog box). I have checked the GP under the Office 2013 ADMX - Microsoft Office 2013 - File Open/Save dialog box - Places bar locations. The place bar locations # were set to not configured. To test I enabled #1 and put a network drive in there. This then shows up as expected. I don't think this has anything to do though with the general "This PC" entry in the save as dialog........

3. In RDS I have restricted browsing local C/D drives. I have configured Office default save location to be the users home drive and this works fine. What I have noticed is that the backstage - Computer Recent Folders has 2 entries that are permanent and cant be right click/removed. These are Documents and Desktop. I want to get rid of these because if the user clicks them, they get an error "The operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer". This is to be expected because of the GP but I don't want the links there.
