Office 365 client using desktop outlook can not drang and drop move search results to folders

Hi,

So the issue only occurs to one user according to your description, I can't reproduce this on my side either.

What is the account type in the affected Outlook? Exchange, POP, IMAP or Exchange ActiveSync? Is there any error message if the messages can't be dragged and dropped?

Since the messages are stored in the Outlook Data Files, if the user's Outlook data file has been corrupted, it can be the cause in this issue. Please run Scanpst.exe to scan and repair the possible errors in the user's Outlook Data File(s):

This tool can be used for both .pst and .ost files.

Hello, one of our clients using Microsoft Office 365 reported having issues when they performed a keyword search inside the desktop version of the Outlook application and could not do a Drag and Drop move of the mass selection to another folder inside Outlook.

I searched on the web to see if anyone else has had the same issue and found others that reported having difficulty with moving search results to other Inbox folders.  I made sure the Search setting in File, Options were set to Current Folder. Some impacted users suggested hitting the escape key a couple of times.  We did and it allowed moving only one search item at a time.  Trying to select multiple search results to be moved via Drag and Drop did not work.  Any suggestions?  Does Microsoft have a fix or patch for the Office 365 users.
