Office 365 Sign-in Assistance problems
I have been seeing the sign-in assistant pop-up box for about 60 days but have been choosing cancel since everytime I attempted to log in I got an error message. This has worked fine until today when my office products all now are shown as unlicensed products. I have been on line and on the phone with Microsoft attempting to correct this issue to no avail. My account id and password obviously work or I couldn't get in this forum but while I have been assured that my problems are fixed by 2 techs I still can't get into the sign in assistant. along with the narrative on the error screen I am getting either a 80048820 or 800488D6 error code. This is becoming very frustrating since I use Word and Excel daily and I have now lost at least 1/2 day of productivity. Any insight on how to address this problem would be appreciated.

Have you ever tried to reinstall the sign-in assistant? I would suggest to reinstall it and then verify result.

IMHO, Office 365 community is a better place for your question: http://community.office365.com/en-us/f/default.aspx

I've uninstalled and re-installed the sign-in assistant twice now and still come across the error code 800488D6.. I've had this problem with office 365 also where the download doesn't fully install and lists 800488D6 as the reason.

Did you find a solution to this? I recently upgraded to Windows 10 and am getting this same error. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the sign-in assistant three times.
