Office 365 ProPlus & MOSS 2003 Sharepoint Datasheet View

We have a legacy MOSS 03 server that staff still need to access. Recently we rolled out some Windows 8.1 laptops to replace aging computers. We pushed Office 2013 ProPlus uniformly to these new computers as part of the Office 365 subscriptions. Two of our staff needs to access a page with Datasheet View. One can and one can't. I'm trying to figure out why that is. They both have the same laptop model, Windows version/edition, ProPlus with the same options installed and are both accessing the server with IE.

I did notice that one of them has IE add-ons loaded that the other one doesn't and I think this is what's going on. Why does one have these options and the other doesn't? On the computer that can view the datasheet view I simply clicked to open IE. On the computer that can't view it I tried to open IE explicitly from C:\Program File (x86)\Internet Explorer. I've tried downloading both the Microsoft Access Database Engine 2007 and 2010.

From what I'm reading, on the computer that can't view the Datasheet View, either the 64-bit IE is opening instead of 32-bit or the add-ons aren't loaded. If it's the add-ons, where can I get the missing ones?

See screenshots:

Hi,

When one user couldn't access the page with Datasheet View, what was the error message?

Check "All add-ons" in IE, can you find these add-ons that are available on the other user's IE?

We can try to drop the site into the compatibility view list to check the result:

Go the Internet Explorer --> Tools --> Compatibility View settings --> add the domain/address of your Sharepoint site and click "Add" --> Click "Close".

Goodness. It's working in Compatibility Mode. I can't believe I didn't try that. This might actually break some of our other sites that require IE but I'm going to say that this issue is resolved since the Datasheet view is working again. Thanks very much.
