We have a legacy MOSS 03 server that staff still need to access. Recently we rolled out some Windows 8.1 laptops to replace aging computers. We pushed Office 2013 ProPlus uniformly to these new computers as part of the Office 365 subscriptions. Two of our staff needs to access a page with Datasheet View. One can and one can't. I'm trying to figure out why that is. They both have the same laptop model, Windows version/edition, ProPlus with the same options installed and are both accessing the server with IE.
I did notice that one of them has IE add-ons loaded that the other one doesn't and I think this is what's going on. Why does one have these options and the other doesn't? On the computer that can view the datasheet view I simply clicked to open IE. On the computer that can't view it I tried to open IE explicitly from C:\Program File (x86)\Internet Explorer. I've tried downloading both the Microsoft Access Database Engine 2007 and 2010.
From what I'm reading, on the computer that can't view the Datasheet View, either the 64-bit IE is opening instead of 32-bit or the add-ons aren't loaded. If it's the add-ons, where can I get the missing ones?
