Office 365 - Outlook not connecting to exchange after upgrade 8.1 to 8.1 PRO

Hello,

I have been having no success in getting Outlook to connect to the Exchange server on ONE of my computers. On attempting to add the E-mail account, Outlook reports that "An encrypted connection to your server is not available." when attempting to autodiscover the settings. On proceeding, attempting to connect with an unsecure connection, Outlook reports "We are having trouble connecting to your account." and the process fails.

I have Office 365 Business Premium and I have been attempting to setup Outlook 2013 on an HP 650 G1 laptop with Windows 8.1 upgraded to 8.1 Pro. I have 14 other computers (Lenovo laptops running Windows 7 Pro) which have been setup without any issue and which are in daily use.

When testing the Connectivity using the MS Remote Connectivity Analyzer, the connectivity test  is successful with warnings:

  1. The Microsoft Connectivity Analyzer can only validate the certificate chain using the Root Certificate Update functionality from Windows Update. Your certificate may not be trusted on Windows if the "Update Root Certificates" feature isn't enabled. Elapsed Time: 4 ms
  2. The Microsoft Connectivity Analyzer failed to obtain an Autodiscover XML response from https://<mydomain>.com:443/Autodiscover/Autodiscover.xml 
  3. Attempting to test potential Autodiscover URL https://autodiscover-s.outlook.com/Autodiscover/Autodiscover.xml Testing of the Autodiscover URL was successful.

I have downloaded Windows 8 from Microsoft and re-installed the OS on the problem laptop. I then updated all patches, upgraded to 8.1 PRO and Joined the domain. In that order.

Finally, I have re-installed Office 365 and run into the same issue...

Can anyone assist me I getting this problem PC to connect Outlook to the Office 365 Exchange servers?
