Office 2016 Technical Preview isn't getting activated
Yesterday, I downloaded the Office 2016 Technical Preview via Microsoft Connect and installed it successfully, but now it asks me for activation. I tried logging in with my Microsoft account using which I signed up for Microsoft Connect account and downloaded Office 2016 Preview. What should I do now? It says that, if the product isn't activated then, my subscription will expire by March 24, 2015.

Do you have a valid Office 365 subscription?

Anyway, I'd recommend asking non-programming questions on the Office 2013 and Office 365 ProPlus - Planning, Deployment, and Compatibility  forum instead.

Nope. I don't have a valid Office 365 subscription. Do I need that to activate Office 16 Technical Preview?

Hi,

Yes, "Have an active Office 365 ProPlus subscription" is one of the prerequisites listed below:

Office 2016 Preview (for Business)

Also it seems to have to be some certain subscriptions, like Office 365 ProPlus, E3, and E4 plans, but I can't confirm this right now. It's a self-supported program; we are not offering technical support for Office 2016 Preview.

You can try for help from the Community where you can ask questions and get answers from other preview users.
