Office 2013 in Excel - Share, Email, Send as Attachment produces emails with blank body text - IMAP server

I have a few users on Office 2013 who experience the following issue.  If they have a file open in Excel, and then go to the "File" menu, select "Share", select "Email", select "Send as Attachment," it opens a new Outlook compose message with the name of the file as the default subject and the file already attached.  After addressing it and typing a message of any length, when they send the message, the recipient receives the email, but there is no body text.  It's completely missing.  The saved copy in "Sent" on the server also has no text in the body of the message.  It happens every time this way.  If the user opens a new message from Outlook and then clicks on "attach" it works normally.

On my computer, which has Office 365 installed, I do not experience this issue.  We are on the same infrastructure... has anyone run into this before?
