Office 2013 Retail and 365 Licencing

Hi,

We have an application that the authors don't yet support on Office 365, or the locally installed Professional version of 2013 supplied as part of the o365 subscription.

As such, they are recommending that we buy full retail versions of Office, in addition to the o365 subscription that we already have.
Obviously this isn't something we want to do - the whole point of subscribing to o365 was to reduce costs.

Someone has suggested buying a single licence for Office Professional retail.
We can then use this installer to install Office on each machine.

Apparently, given that we already subscribe to o365 for all of these users we won't be in breach of any licencing agreement.

Is that correct?

Thank you for your help

Hi,

Since your question is about Office license, I recommend you connect the Microsoft Customer Service Center  http://support.microsoft.com/gp/customer-service-phone-numbers/en-us. to get detailed help.

PSMicrosoft has different business policy with different states.

Thank for your understanding.
