Office 2013 Pro Plus evaluation downloaded from TechNet, can't be activated

Hello,

I have downloaded an Office 2013 Pro Plus evaluation package from this TechNet page: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/evalcenter/evaluate-office-professional-plus-2013?i=1

After going through with the subscription steps, I get to the point where my download starts, but I also get this message:

Your product key is:

Error: 'Timeout expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation or the server is not responding.'
Your download has started.

Once Office is installed, it asks me to activate it. I enter the same e-mail address used in the registration process above, but get a message that no Office product is associated with it. As I didn't get a product key in the previous step, I can't go down that path either.

I'm trying to run Office for it's trial period of 60 days, but can't, due to the issues described. What is the solution to get it running?

Thank you in advance.

Hi,

For this issue, I tested and there was no issue for me, I could get a trial product key, the service is ok.

I suggest you clear the cookies and cache in Internet Explorer to try again. Please also try with a different browser if the problem persists.

Hello,

I had tried that previously, but did it again just to test. I'm still getting the same message on both MSIE and Chrome on Win 7 Pro, as well as on Chrome on Mac OS (connected to a different network altogether).

I am still unable to activate the trial.

Thank you for your continued help.
