Hi Suhas,

Based on your description, you uninstall office 2010 manually and you want to reinstall the same office 2010 again but failed. Did you get any error messages when you cannot reinstall office 2010? And you said you uninstall Office automatically could you tell me the way of uninstall Office e.g. use script or any tools?

You said it gived you some problems when you first install it, I suppose old Setup source may be crashed. I suggest you try to download a new SETUP source with your product key from this link:

https://products.office.com/en-us/download-back-up-restore-microsoft-office-products?legRedir=true&CorrelationId=30948e07-e78f-44d8-908f-a77d3873cdd5

After downloading a new SETUP source you still cannot install Office, you can download and install Configuration Analyzer Tool (OffCAT), which is developed by Microsoft Support teams. Once the tool is installed, you can run it at any time to scan for hundreds of known issues in Office programs. If you dont know how to check the issues you can post the log here after OffCAT scanning.

The link of download OffCAT:

http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=36852

And I suggest you read this article about uninstall Office manually as a reference and check if there are some errors with your steps:

https://support.office.com/en-ca/article/Uninstall-or-remove-Microsoft-Office-2010-suites-90635a1d-aec8-4653-b358-67e1b766fc4d?ui=en-US&rs=en-CA&ad=CA

Try these methods and if they are all useless please tell me and if there any error messages post them here, with the error messages I can get more precise reasons about your issue.

Hope its helpful.
