Office 2010 Automatic Replies Inside My Organization - multiple domains
Usually when you set Automatic replies for Inside the organization it will only send to users on your domain that the Exchange server handles. We have 2 subsidiaries that use seperate exchange servers and have seperate domains. Is there a way to include these domains as part of users inside the origanization? In other words, can the Exchange 2010 server use a listing of predefined domains to be included as "Inside the Organization" even though they are not?

Outlook doesn't provide any such settings. The above needs to be discussed at Exchange forum. Post your query Exchange Server forum @ http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/category/exchangeserver. DeVa, M.S., {MSFT} Please remember to mark the replies as answers if they help

The deinition os "inside the organization" would be the set of domain names in the "Accepted Domains" list. Including domain names that someone else is responsible for is possible but implies that the namespace is shared. If it isn't shared but it's present in the "Accepted Domains" then you're have to be a mailbox, contact, or mail-enabled user with the address in your organization. --- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP --- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP
