Off Page Reference to Specific Line or Paragraph in Word
I have an intricate Visio 2007 Standard diagram and many of the steps require some documentation (that I already have). Is there a way to have an off-page reference or a hyperlink point to a Word Document, and specifically a location in that document (i.e. page 3, line 5) ?

Hi,

In regarding your requirement, I recommend you use hyperlink to point to a Word Document, and specifically a location. Right-Click the shape which you want> Add Hyperlink>Add sub address in the Word Document(i.e. page 3, line 5) . Please refer to the following picture:
