OWA with Exchange 2007 - how can I change the displayed adress lists when creating a new mail ?
Hello all. We are running Exchange 2007 and 2003 (native mode) in our company and all servers are member of the same organisation. The problem: When a user with a mailbox on one of the 2007 servers is using OWA and is creating a new mail and is choosing "TO:" the dialog Adressbook web-page dialog is showing an adress list of one of the 2003 servers (wich just contains users of this site). Can someone please tell me how I can provide the Global Adress lists to 2007 OWA Users or where I should investigate to see why the adress list of the 2003 server is shown ? Thanks, SK

Note: Of course I can choose "Show other adress lists" and then choose the GAL. But this one step is one too much for the users, and want to know how I can make the Default Global Adress List shown while choosing the recipient for a new mail . Or in a short term: The 2003 adress list wich is now shown (above "All Rooms") should be replace with the GAL. Thanks for any help. SK

on EX2007 open EMC Under Org Configuration select Mailbox and then click on Offline Address book Tab check if it is pointing to ex2007 server. also under Server Configuration select Mailbox and then select the mailbox database and then go to properties select client settings and make sure Under offline address book the \Default Offline Address List is selected.Vinod |CCNA|MCSE 2003 +Messaging|MCTS|ITIL V3|

Having the same problem in similar environment. Anyone found a fix for this? Not the offline address book, but the default address list for live users in OWA
