OWA users do not redirect properly
Hello All, Forgive me if for any silly questions or assumptions. I am new to Exchange server, and this problem was just given to me. Several months back, our domain name changed from xyz.org to xyzma.gov. Now when OWA users try to get their mail from home, they never get to the new domain. They get a certificate error and get sent to the old domain. They are still able to get their mail, but is is very annoying. We also are now using SSL. As a side note, the person who initially set this up is no longer with the company, that is why I now have this. Here is what has been done...1. A new certificate has been obtained and applied to the Exchange server. This certificate uses the new domain name. 2. On the Default Web Site directory of the Exchange server, custom error 403;4 now contains a redirect script. 3. This redirect script also forces the use of SSL, and points to the /exchange directory.4. When a user enters mail.xyz.org, they see the redirect script running, then they get a certificate error telling them that the certificate belongs to xyz.org. They click OK to continue and are brought to https://mail.xyz.org/exchweb/bin/auth/owalogon.asp? url=https://mail.xyz.org/exchange&reason=0 My crash course is forcing me to learn a great deal about Exchange, but I am at a standstill. By the way, that redirect script will run if I drill down to it and open it with IE.
Thanks in advance for any help/insight you can offer.
