OWA synchronization problem
We have an exchange 2007 with clustered mailbox and hub / cas installed onto a single server. My problem is when I open mails from OWA and I read the mails and the status of the perticular mail changes to read in owa. But when I come to office and see the pericular mail shows me as unread. This problem occured to all the users.I installed rollup 9 also.

Yes we are using black berry server also. But I when I used my OWA at home for repling urgent mails then that replied mails are show me as unread. The Icons of the read messages are as opened envelopes and the subject bar fonts are in normal fonts where as unread messages are in closed envelopes and subject fonts are in bold latter. When we open unread message the icons become open envelop. But when I open outlook still the icons are with close envelope. Because of the I cannot diffranciate the read messages and unread messages. Pl. help me.

Hi, As my understanding that when the emial has been read from OWA,the status for e-mail in outlook do not change to read,is that true? Additional to Vinod’s inputs, please also check the following steps. First please try to change outlook to online mode. Then we can use MFCMAPI to check the email status. 1. Logon the user mailbox. 2. Double click on Mailbox. 3. Get the list of messages/posts/items in inbox. 4. Find the email that you have read. 5. Look at the PR_MESSAGE_FLAGS property. a. If the message has been read - it will have the MSGFLAG_READ flag set on it. b. If the message has been marked as unread, then it will not have this flag set on it. c. If the MSGFLAG_READ is on the item - but it still shows as unread in the client, then something wrong is happening in Outlook. d. Otherwise - something is changing this read flag on the server for this user. Regards, Xiu
