OWA stopped responding in Exchange 2003 Std.
I have exchange 2003 standard version running on server 2003. On Friday I upgraded our version of Active Directory from 2003 to 2003 R2 (version 30 to 31). I needed to add a domain controller at another location. It appeared that everything was working fine after that upgrade. Today I found that while e-mail works fine if you are connected to the server or through RPC and even the BES server, I can not access OWA. When trying to access OWA, it just comes back saying "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage". Does anyone know if there is a KB article about trouble shooting this issue?

Is the World Wide Web Publishing Service running on the Exchange server? Have you tried rebooting the server?Ed Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems."

Yes. The World Wide Web Publishing Service is running on the Exchange server. I have rebooted the server a couple times now, but that service was still running before I rebooted the first time.

Can you access the default web site on the server, by going to http://server (i.e. without /Exchange on the end). Assuming that you haven't configured IIS so that it automatically goes to OWA without you having to type /Exchange on the end?Outlook Web Access For PDA , OWA For WAP www.owa-pda.com email a@t leederbyshire d.0.t c.0.m

Did Windows Security/Firewall get enabled on the Exchange 2003 Server? Need to insure port 443 is open on the Exchange Server. You can also turn up logging in the IIS Default website on the Exchange Server to see what is happening when users make requests to OWA. Verify its actually reaching the server.MVP Exchange Server

Hi, Please check if you have map 25,110 to exchange server on the router. Please try to use your public IP address to access OWA https://ipaddress/exchange. Also, try to use NSlookup to check if domain name can be correctly resolve to IP address. If you have ISA server, you need check the OWA publish rule. Thanks. Novak Wu-MSFT
