OWA issue in Co-existence with E2k3 and E2k7 users
Hi Team, Recently i had implemented Ex 2007 in an existing Ex 2003 Server. Users mailbox are located in both E2k3 Servers and E2k7 Servers. I had created the user in ex 2k3 server (Dsa.msc) and located the user mailbox pointing to Ex 2007 server. Mailbox Created without any issue. but when a user is trying to logon to the OWA. OWA LINK : HTTP://E2K3Servername /exchange. it is asking to use ssl and it automaticaly re-directing to E2k7 OWN link and once i logon with user name and password,It is giving the below error. what is that exactly meaning that. When i see the user mailbox in EMC it is showing like legacy mailbox. How to resolve the call stack issue.? there is no problem while opening the OWA for native mailbox users (2k7 users and E2k3 users). Only problem with user who has created in E2k3 and pointing the mailbox to latest version of exchange. I hope this could be a problem with version Compatability? You used ADUC to mail enable a user and pointed them at Exchange 2007 for their mailbox? If so, that was the problem. You should not use Exchange 2003 management tools, like ADUC to work with Exchange 2007. Exchange 2007 users should be mail enabled through the Exchange Management Console or EMS, not ADUC. Use ADUC for Exchange 2003 users only. You will have to mail disable the user and then mail enable them again on Exchange 2007. You might be able to move their mailbox to Exchange 2003 and then move it back, but I don't think that will work. Simon.Simon Butler, Exchange MVP Blog | Exchange Resources
