OWA certificate install killed ECP local access

Hi all,

Exchange 2013 on Server 2012:

After installing GoDaddy certificate for Exchange Server OWA, etc ECP is no longer available from my local LAN. It works fine, however, if I access it via the public interface, as does OWA. Before installing the certificate ecp worked fine from my local LAN, and OWA worked OK from the outside, but complained about the lack of a certificate, as normal. I never tried to get to ecp from the outside before this problem arose.

Any ideas?

Hello,

Do you mean ecp is no longer available from your local LAN, but ecp can be available from internet after you install certificate? If so, I recommend you check if you can access ecp by owa options.

Besides, I recommend you check if you check "Require ssl" and uncheck "Ignore client certificate" on your ecp virtual directory.

Hello,

I'm sorry that I don't explain my reply clearly.

My meaning is that if you can access your epc by inputing ecp url on IE broswer, I recommend you click owa options to check if you can access epc.

If you have any question, please free let me know.

Exactly. >>>If so, I recommend you check if you can access ecp by owa options.

I don't understand what you mean by this. Can you please explain?
