HI i want to ask some questions what version of Exchange you use and is your OWA Published through ISA server ? I recommend at first examining your OWA server ,Some basic performance monitoring techniques will help determine the cause. Make sure that your system has plenty of free CPU, memory and disk resources regards|Ahmed Tarek | Please vote helpful or mark as answer if it's answered your question, this help us follow up the question status.

E2k7 SP3. I have a firewall which forwards the request for OWA to my exchange server. I have a single mailbox n CAS/HT server. When i use IE 7/8 the initial display of the web page is very slow and login is somewhat OK. This is true for both internal n external access. Compared to IE non MS browsers have a slightly better speed.swamy

What firewall? are u using IAG or UAG, to publish OWA?

Hi, First please try to use https://CASservername/OWA to access mailbox and then check the issue. If we also have poor performance, then I'd like to know if you have any other web application hosted on the CAS server. Besides, I recommend you to use IE7 in safe mode and then check the issue again. HI Xiu, The IE 8 safe mode (private Mode) displays the web page very fast and login and display of the mailbox is also very fast compared to default mode. swamy

Hi Zarko, My company use Checkpoint, though there was some issues with the checkpoint, but it was resolved, and i believer the slowness of owa may not be due to checkpoint. There are some other Web applications that users access and there is no complaint about them. It is only the owa. swamy

Hi, Thus we can assume that the issue could be the IE related one. Please launch IE without any add-ons and then check the issue. 1. Click Tools, and then click Internet Options. 2. Click the "Programs" tab, and then click Manage Add-ons. 3. Select an add-on in the Name list, and then click Disable. 4. Please restart IE with Add-ons and check the issue again. Also you can try to disable any 3rd add-ones and then check the issue again. Regards, Xiu

Hi Xiu, Thanks for the reply. after disabling the 3rd party add-ons there is a good response from the Exchange server using the same IE8 version. i'll also run EBPA to check any bottleneck. swamy
