OWA Sign Out doesn't work

I'm testing Exchange 2013 and running into the issue. On the OWA page, when I click on Sign out, OWA doesn't sign out.. It gives me "Sign Out" window with statement: "You must close all browser windows to sign out completely". Same behavior on local server, on remote server.. /OWA /ECP site.. Admin user, non admin user..

Forms authentication is disabled, basic and windows are enabled.

If I manually add /owa/logoff.owa it logs me off..

Any ideas?

Hello,

Please make sure whether there are same credential which is saved on other browsers or not.

Here is the kb for your reference. ( Though it refers to exchange server 2000, but I think it applies to exchange server 2013)

You Must Close the Browser to Log Off OWA

Hey,

Thank you for the answer. I thought about this, but the deal is that I experience same behavior even after completely closing the browser. Using different browser than IE, Chrome for example.. Opening it on local server, or remote.. It looks like clicking on Sing Out button doesn't redirect me to /logoff.owa file. As I mentioned If I add it to my existing URL, it actually logs me off.

Any thoughts about that?

Hello,

Please check if there is any process related to IE which still is running via Task Manager.

If all IE browsers are closed successfully, there issue persits when you use Chrome, I suggest you recreate your owa virtual directory and check the result.

Hey,

I'm sorry for delay. I tried same configuration with few other environments and it seems that it is normal behavior with non-forms authentication.

Thanks for you help!
