OWA Logoff stopped working after changing authentication to Basic

Hello all.

I have 2 Exchange 2013 infrastructures. One with CU7 and one with CU9 installed.

After I changed OWA authentication to Basic, OWA Logoff button stopped working even on internal network.

Does anybody have the same problem?

Does it happens on all the browsers.

Just check if you are running your browsers in compatibility mode

Hi Garrett,

Thank you for your question.

Could you see Logoff button?

Is there error in when click Logoff if we could see Logoff

By default, OWA authentication is basic, which authentication you used in the former?

Did the Logoff not work on both Exchange 2013 CU7 and Exchange 2013 CU9?

For testing, we could change basic authentication into the original authentication to  check if we could logoff in OWA.

As above suggestion, we could change to another browser to check if the issue persist, we could also restart IIS to check if the issue persist. check if there are any errors in application log.

If there are any questions regarding this issue, please be free to let me know.

Best Regard,

Hello,

By default OWA and ECP use Forms-based authentication and OWA Logoff works fine.

After changing to Basic - appears a window "You must close all browser to logoff OWA"
