OWA Error 404
OWA is not available anymore on a SBS 2008 server. At one point in time it was available, but isn’t anymore. When attempting to use OWA, I receive the following error displayed on the webpage: Server Error in Application "DEFAULT WEB SITE" Internet Information Services 7.0 Error Summary HTTP Error 404.0 - Not Found The resource you are looking for has been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable. Detailed Error Information Module IIS Web Core Notification MapRequestHandler Handler StaticFile Error Code 0x80070002 Requested URL https://yrdc09:443/owa Physical Path C:\inetpub\wwwroot\owa Logon Method Anonymous Logon User Anonymous Most likely causes: • The directory or file specified does not exist on the Web server. • The URL contains a typographical error. • A custom filter or module, such as URLScan, restricts access to the file. Things you can try: • Create the content on the Web server. • Review the browser URL. • Create a tracing rule to track failed requests for this HTTP status code and see which module is calling SetStatus. Create the file or directory and try the request again. View more information » I looked for C:\inetpub\wwwroot\owa, but it does not exist. Not certain if this is an Exchange issue or IIS. Suggestions?

Look in IIS administrator and see if the OWA virtual directory is present under the Default Web Site. If it is not, you can recreate it with the New-OWAVirtualDirectory cmdlet.
