OWA 2010 not showing attendee availability (free/busy data) when creating a new message/meeting request from outside. (internet) It's working on LAN. Any fix for this?

Ok, so what happens when you go into the scheduling assistant, and add users as invitees? Does it look like they are free all the time? Does it show hash marks? If the server is unable to show free/busy it will say "Unable to retrieve information" or something to that affect.http://jaworskiblog.com

Hi, Please answer Scott’s questions. Does the issue occur on certain user mailbox in OWA or several user mailbox? If the issue occurs on each user mailbox when accessing OWA, I suggest you restart System Attendant service to check the result. Meanwhile, please monitor Event log and post the error message if there is. Thanks. In scheduling assistant it shows free/busy details. When adding email addresses in Appointment tab it doesn't show the availability.

Same issue for all mailboxes. Event viewer doesn't provide any errors/warnings when restarting the System Attendant Service.

Do you mean that you cannot view the new added user’s availability information in Scheduling Assistant tab after adding the new email address in Appointment tab? Can you see the availability information from your own account in Scheduling Assistant tab? To narrow down the cause, please capture the Scheduling Assistant tab and Appointment tab window when the issue occurs. Then, please send the screenshot to me for research. Alternatively, you can send the your OWA test account to me and I can check it for you directly. Thanks. In scheduling assistant it shows free/busy details. When adding email addresses in Appointment tab it doesn't show the availability. This is expected behavior and it appears you are expecting some functionality that isn't available. Free/Busy information is only available through the scheduling assistant, and when opening another user's calendar in Outlook 2010 and OWA 2010. Simply adding users to an appointment in Outlook or OWA will not display Free/Busy.http://jaworskiblog.com
