OWA/ECP signout not working in Ex2013 SP1

Hi All,

there are numerous posts about the signoff functionality not working when Ex2013 CAS is set to *not* use FBA - but no resolution.

Does anyone know of a fix for this?

Note: there are a few posts suggesting this to be a cached credential issue. It is not. This is neither expected, nor desired behavior. Ex2010 does not exhibit this, and neither should Ex2013.

Thx in advance!

I've seen OWA not sign out properly when FBA was in use.  What rollup hotfix are you running?  You might want to be sure you're at the latest.

Hi Ed,

Thx for your reply. Just installed CU8 in an attempt to get this sorted out.

I also applied the signout.aspx modification (http://blogs.technet.com/b/exchange/archive/2015/01/12/owa-forms-based-auth-logoff-changes-in-exchange-2013-cumulative-update-8-and-good-news-for-tmg-customers.aspx )
Note: this issue is not related to TMG - I can reproduce this internally, with no TMG in the mix.

Still doesn't work.

I did a Fiddler trace and there's no traffic being sent to the sever. I would expect something like a logoff POST or similar. The only thing that happens is the lightbox popup with the "..close all browsers.." statement.

OWA 2010 does not have this behavior (we're in coexistence right now).

This is a pretty big security hole, as the session remains active unless *all* browser windows are closed.
I also reproduced this in FF.

Thx&Rgds,
Marcus.
