OAB isues Exchange 2007, Outlook 2003 & 2007
I have been using outlook 2007 to connect to my exchange 2007 mailbox server for several months with no problems. Recently I changed my network password, and some time later outlook 2007 sarted prompting me for my password. Even if i enter my password and check the remember password box, it still keeps reappearing. Another thing im noticing is when outlook does its send/recieve thing, I get error (0x8004010F) 'The operation failed. An object cannot be found'. I am still recieving and sending mail just fine. I have checked settings and everything looks normal. This settup is a standard midsize buisess setup, 1 mailbox server, 1 CAS, 1 hubtransport server. I am the only user on the network using Outlook 2007, every one else is Outlook 2003 and they are getting sync issues with this error 15:13:22 Microsoft Exchange offline address book 15:13:22 0X8004010F thanks

Hi chiefm, For the error(0x8004010F)you can refer to Jonas’s link. It’s a good link. For your another question, I understand that after you change your network password, the Outlook 2007 started prompt for your password. For this issue, I want to clarify the following information. 1. Do you use pop3 protocol to connect your webmail? 2. Which kind of password does your Outlook 2007 prompt, Network password or e-mail account password? Troubleshooting: If your Outlook prompt for Network password and you are using pop3 protocol, I suggest you refer to this document: I get an Enter Network Password prompt http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook-help/i-get-an-enter-network-password-prompt-HA010151354.aspx If your Outlook prompt for e-mail account password, you can refer to this document: Outlook 2007 prompts you repeatedly for your e-mail account credentials http://support.microsoft.com/kb/923579 If the problem persists, please feel free to let me know and I will be glad to help. thanks. Im not finding any oab files in the default oab folder on the CAS. Its empty. Now, this Exchange 2007 setup was a migration from 2000 and I kept the public folders, so i have an oab folder in System Public Folders that I can view in the Public Folder Management Console. There are 2 folders in that oab folder that both say OAB version 2 and have no items to show in them. My 1st question is should there be something in that folder? c:\programFiles\microsof\ExchangeServer\clientAccess\OAB\<guid>
