OAB Errors
I recently had an issue with my Exchange server. I had to set up a backup server, backup the data by peforming a combination of moving mailboxes and exporting PST from Outlook when offline, reload the original server and move all the mailboxes from the backup server to the rebuilt server. There were disk errors that prevented me from getting a good backup of Exchange before it crashed. After getting everything back in place I am getting errors in the Event Viewer Application Logs on the Exchange server and Send/Receive errors in Outlook. I do have copies of the database files for the public store before the server crashed (not the private store database files though they were damaged by faulty HDD's). I am also getting critical alerts when I run the Exchange BPA - 3 separate Offline address book replica not found alerts, Version 2, Version 3a, and Version 4. Below are the following App Log errors: ------------------------------------------ Event Type: Error Event Source: MSExchangeIS Public Store Event Category: IS/AD Interactions Event ID: 7037 Date: 6/5/2010 Time: 12:11:45 PM User: N/A Computer: EXCHANGE Description: There are no replicas for the public folder /O=FIRST ORGANIZATION/OU=FIRST ADMINISTRATIVE GROUP/CN=RECIPIENTS/CN=_O=FIRST ORGANIZATION_CN=ADD77F9A6489DEE772792D3AFF49C8A5E000008 in any connected sites. For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp. ------------------------------------------ I want to know what I can do to fix the problem, but I am also curious how serious of an issue this is. Any and all help/information would be greatly appreciated!

What version of Exchange? It looks like you need to reset the system public folders. Here's a guide for how to do that in Exchange 2003: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/822444 -- Ed Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems." .
