We lost the capability to create server-side rules. Everytime a user creates a rule it seems to default to client-based. Any thoughts? We are usuing SBS 2K3 and O2K7 for the clients.

What is the default email delivery location for your users? If it is PST, this could happen.

Apologies for my delayed response. I have been deluged with a project. The users are all using PST's on their local machine that sync with the server. Your thoughts?

The rule created was something simple i.e., when the mail comes in, send it to another folder, etc. Nothing complex and involved. Your thoughts?

If the location for default delivery is pst, that explains why all rules default to client-only.
