O2013: Add to Outlook Contacts

Hi --

Is there a way to configure Outlook 2013 so that the "Add to Outlook Contacts" option brings up the "classic" full Contacts window instead of that minimalist "tablet" window? Most of the time, I have information to enter into the Contacts card that isn't available from that dinky little thing. I want the full Contacts window made available to me without having to go through the half-dozen steps I have to go through now.

Thanks
CL

Hi,

Your request can be done by a registry key:

Important Follow the steps in this section carefully. Serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Before you modify it, back up the registry for restoration in case problems occur.

Press Win + R, type "regedit.exe" in the blank box, press Enter.

Browse to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Common\Contactcard,

add:

Value name: turnonlegacygaldialog
Value type: REG_DWORD
Value: 1

Then try the feature again, you will see the class full contacts window.
