Notification...
Hi, We have 2 edge servers. Both of them has forefront installed on them. Now whenever any mails get purged due to specific words in the mails like "pee" etc, nor the sender or receiver of the mails are notified. I want that whenever any mails are blocked due to blocked keywords, a notification is sent to the sender of the mail. So that he knows that due to specific word his mails is blocked. I followed the following article --> http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb896620.aspx#Step8 But still no notifications are being sent through. Thanks.

Beware that it is not a good idea to send those notifications out back to senders as it may cause spoofing or junk emails in between what was the issue? can you share with us?Vinod |CCNA|MCSE 2003 +Messaging|MCTS|ITIL V3|

Hi, It means that it may result in blockage of our mail server on many email servers (mainly shared email hosting providers). Thanks,

Hi, Ok. After enabling notification I am gettting the notifications. But I want that the keyword due to which the mail is blocked should also be present in the notification message. Is it possible and if yes then how to configure it. Thanks.

Hi,I think that I am not able to present my requirement rightly..... What i need is that instead of this kind of mail received by external sender -->Reporting-MTA: dns;col0-omc3-s10.col0.hotmail.comReceived-From-MTA: dns;COL103-W38Arrival-Date: Mon, 24 Aug 2009 23:44:50 -0700 Final-Recipient: rfc822;sssAction: failedStatus: 5.7.1Diagnostic-Code: smtp;550 5.7.1 Message rejected due to content restrictionA detailed mail is prsented to him. Like this -->Microsoft Forefront Security for Exchange Server has matched a filter.Filter name: "KEYWORD= Microsoft Block List: ____"State: PurgedSubject Line: "FW: Why husband dont answer!!"Sender: "sss"Location: "Microsoft//test (SMTP Messages\Inbound And Outbound)"The article you given me and I followed seems to send the mail to internal addresses only, with the format we specified. But they are not sending these kind of notifications to external senders (which is my requirement). If i am still wrong sorry for bothering you again.Thanks.
