Nothing to do with a corrupt file

Cannot access data file outlook 2013 because it does not close fully

OK I have a client that has 3 - Inspiron 13 and loaded office365

when they close outlook and wait 5 - 10 minutes they still get error

Cannot access data file outlook 2013

When I looked in task manager outlook is still running it is not closing on all 3 tablets

if I end task on outlook then click outlook it opens fine but my clients are not going to do this.

Hi,

This issue may happen if another application is accessing Outlooks message store when closing Outlook.

Please first check if you have any third-party add-ins installed. To do this, go to File > Options > Add-ins, disable suspicious add-ins and then test the issue again.

Programs that integrate themselves into Outlook may also cause such issue. We need to check the documentation of that program on how to disable it. Programs that may cause this issue are: Fax software, Virus scanners, Anti-spam filters, Synchronization software, Skype, etc.

After youve found the add-in or program that cause Outlook to not shutdown correctly, we recommend you to use the Inbox Repair Tool to scan and repair your Outlook data file, in case your Outlook data file is corrupted due to the problematic add-in or program integration.
