Hi,

Mostly it can be the DNS issue. Check if the external DNS has changed something and external emails are not able to find the domain. Also check by bypassing Proofpoint to see if it helps.

testconnectivity.Microsoft.com is a great resource to test the inbound mailflow too

Hi Rishi,

Thank you for your question.

Is there NDR when we send email to subdomain?

What is about Exchange infrastructure?

We could refer to Manus suggestion to check DNS. We could check if we have checked receive connector which Exchange servers was checked on permission group and Exchange server authentication was checked on authentication if we have a co-existed environment.

If there are any questions regarding this issue, please be free to let me know.

Best Regard,

Jim

In proofpoint can you track those emails ? In proofpoint can you see those emails as delivered? Check the transport logs of your hub servers on which proofpoint relay emails after accepting. You can use command like

Get-MessageTrackingLog -sender foo@somedomain.com and see whats the status of message.
