Not able to see Properties tab of mailboxes in ESM
I am trying to take control of other mailboxes in our domain, under "Mailbox Rights" in AD my name is already there with full permissions (greyed out) (I am guessing this is inherited permissions from within ESM) when I add them to my currect outlook I get "Unable to display the folder. Microsoft Office Outlook could not access the specified folder location". So, I go into ESM and look athe mailbox... but I am not able to see the properties page (i am logged in as the domain admin account) I have full admin right inherited from the top... what gives? why cant I take control over a mailbox?

You can't see the mailbox b/c domain admin's are denied 'full mailbox access' and send as rights by defualt. you'll have to go to adsiedit and change that from the store level and let it trickle down. As far as your esm, 1 machine or all machines?
