Hello,

There is no built mechanism for that but you can use powershell script to check at specific interval of time and send

email if Non-owner has accessed the mailbox.

Please login to the ECP, go to Manage My Organization and then click in Roles & Auditing. There you will see, among other options, the Run a non-owner mailbox access report.

For reference, please walk through this article : http://www.msexchange.org/articles-tutorials/exchange-server-2010/compliance-policies-archiving/auditing-mailbox-access.html

If you want to get such report automatically, LepideAuditor suite would be your another appropriate destination that helps to audit Non-Owner and Owner Mailbox Access into real time and alerts instantly by sending customized notification when it detects the critical events on exchange server.

Hi,

According to your description, I cant find this feature that email notification will be sent when mailbox been accessed by others .

As a workaround, the administrator can use mailbox audit logging to track logons to a mailbox, and  view what actions are taken while the user is logged on.

We can use the following command to enable mailbox audit logging:

Set-Mailbox -Identity "username" -AuditEnabled $true

For more detailed information about mailbox audit logging ,we can refer to the link :

Best Regards,
