hi, Try to view mailbox dbs using this command in Exch Mgmnt shell, Get-mailboxDatabase -server YourMailboxServer See if there is any database. Did u have any mailbox DBs in ur Exch environment prior to this issue? Or is it a fresh Exch install without any MBx DBs? Regards,Laeeq Qazi

Thanks for reply.>>Get-mailboxDatabase -server YourMailboxServergives no result.>> Did u have any mailbox DBs in ur Exch environment prior to this issue? Yes, I have. Before this issue is hapenned thereis was default mailbox database after Exchange environment installation. And I successfully created user mailboxes. In C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\Mailbox\First Storage Group I see a lot of files (Mailbox Database.edb for example). But in Exch Console I don't seeany databases. And when I trying create new mailbox I also don't see any mailbox databases.

Hi, This is really wierd behaviour. This is possible that someone mistakenly deleted the mailbox DB but without first deleting the mailboxes contained in that MBX DB it is not possible. Can you get maiboxesusing thispowershell cmd:get-mailbox Also look into EMC whether u r able to see any mailbox there.I will also advise you to restart your server or all exchange services. You said >>Get-mailboxDatabase -server YourMailboxServergives no result. IF u have more than 1 MBX Server. to put this command and see if u get any MBX DB. Get-MailboxServer | get-mailboxDatabase and put result here. Also try this first Get-Mailbox | fl name,Database Form this command a mailbox database will be shown for each mailbox now run Get-mailboxDatabase "MailboxDababaseFromAboveCommand" | fl And put the result here. Its looking really strange that Mailboxes are show in a DB but u are not able to get DB from Exch. Do you have multiple Domain Controllers in your AD domain. Sometimes these wierd behaviour is shown just because of Replication Issues b/w DCs. If u have multiple DCs then try to put each -DomainController in your above command like: Get-mailboxDatabase "WIN-BEWVA9LAN22\First Storage Group\Mailbox Database" -DomainController "YourDCHere" |fl Regards, Laeeq Qazi
