No Reply Emails for Disable
We are looking for a way to handle emails once a user is no longer with our company.

For my clients, I have only seen three methods used. 1. Just remove the email address completely. This generates the standard non-existant user NDR which will show the recipient who has been rejected. 2. Add the email address to another user - a manager for example, who can manage that email message. 3. The mailbox is left alone and an OOTO message is used. I haven't seen anything else in use, even third party. The method as per your original question I don't use, as I don't allow automatic replies as a rule, because they will create email loops.
