No OoO replies on our Exchange platform
We have an Exchange 2010 SP2 platform, with 2 CAS, and 2 mailboxes server per customer. We are in on-premise mode, no /hosting. Our last installed customer is no more able to use Out of Office messages. In fact, all of his users are able to define OoO messages, either by the Outlook assistant or by the OWA assistant. But no reply are triggered. All mailboxes are on default value (ExternalOOFOptions=external), and no remote-domain. All our other customers have OoO working fine. Autodiscover is defined on all managed domains; we use the redirect method to redirect http://autodiscover.customerdomain.com to https://autodiscover.ourdomain.com I spoke about autodiscover to anticipate questions, but I am not sure that our problem being relative to autodiscover. It really seems to be a server/server conf problem... But... anyway... This last customer has been installed last month, and on the very first days, the OoO was working... Is there a convenient way to trace/debug/inspect something to check the OoO reply generation ?Anais

LAST MINUTE : We also have an other problem on same customer. They were no more able to search mails in OWA or Outlook, with the search engine. We have just perform a Repair-ExchangeSearchSymlinks.ps1 + ResetSearchIndex.ps1 on their database. And it seems that solves both problem, including their OoO problem. Please, may anybody confirm that OoO problem could be a "SearchIndex" problem ? Anais
