I am now deploying2 Exchange servers in my site, they are Hub Transport and Edge Transport However when I send a outbound Internet email, it keep on the Message queue of Hub Transport and never pass it to Edge Transport. I wonder there may be a receive connector missing on Edge Transport Server which connect with Hub Transport. Am I correct? and what receive connector I need to setup so that I can send out an Internet mail? Many Thanks.

I had subscribed to Exchange organization already, but the problem is the outbound email stop in the Hub Transport message queue, and never passes it to Edge Transport. I would like to are there are two receive connector will be created on Edge Transport once Edge Transport Server role installed. I got 1 only...so I wonder it's deleted by my colleague.

Whats the last error it gives in queues? Try Test-EdgeSynchronization& Start-EdgeSynchronization and see if it gives any error. Youcan re-create edge subscription also and see the result.

Hi, By default, only one receive connector is created on Edge Transport server, it is used for both incoming Internet email and incoming email from the Hub Transport server. The Edge Subscription process automaitcaly configures permissions and authentication menchanisms to ensure the sending and receiveing emailare normal. As Amit said, we can try Test-EdgeSynchronization & Start-EdgeSynchronization to test the result of the Edge subscription process. Additionally, please run get-receiveconnector |fl on Hub Transport and Edge server respectively in EMS. Then post the information on the forum. Thanks Allen
