My configuration: New Exchange Server: Dell 32 bit P-Edge 2950Quad Zeon w/ 4GB RAM. Windows Server 2003 SP2 R2. Domain Controller: Server 2003 SP R2 with all current updates and plenty of RAM & disk space. I have a Raid 1 and Raid 5 configured on my Exchange server array with massive amounts of space. I have not created any partitions within the drives. Installing Exchange 2003 with no service pack (service pack 2 to be installed later). During the checklist i am at the Forest Prep stage and when i open the utility, i get this warning. "Exchange Server 2003 has a known compatibility issue with this version of Windows. For more information, refer to http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=37488." I can not find a reason for thiswarning and i am wondering if it safe to proceed. I meet all system requirements and then some.Is there another version of the Forest Prep I can download from MS?

It's been some time since I've run a forest prep for Exchange 2003 but it might have something to do with the fact that you are executing the command using an Exchange 2003 RTM executable. I think you can safely ignore this as you'll upgrade the components to SP2 after completing the setup and I don't believe there is any difference in Schema changes between RTM, SP1, and SP2 versions of the product. To verify I would Execute OrgPrepCheck from the Exchange Deployment Tools on the Exchange Server 2003 CDROM: Code Snippet D:\support\exdeploy\exdeploy.exe /gc:<GlobalCatalog> /t:orgprepcheck <GlobalCatalog> = The FQDN of a local DC/GC
