New exhange server
Hi, I have been given an assignment to evaluate our clients exchange server setup and recommend a solution. The problem with our client is that he an exchange server at corporate HQs, and it works for every staff, but given the nature of our client's business (publisher), they have to send large amount of emails (15K +) to more than 10,000 recipients. This is the problem as this activity happens every two months and it severely affects the corporate email system. My client now wants a separate exchange server (new)that will be connected to two desktops and will have two user accounts on it, so that it does not interfere with the existing exchange setup and affects corporate email. What should I look for? How should I go with the install of the exchange server and with what options? Thanks!

Hi, If you do not want the newly install Exchange affect the corp network performance and Email system, then you candeploy your Exchange Server ina newlybuilt domain separate with the corp network. You can refer to the below article: Preparing to Deploy Exchange 2007 http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa995902(EXCHG.80).aspx Hope it helps. Best regards, Xiu
